HVAC Start-Up/Commissioning Technician

Primary Responsibilities:Perform start-up/commissioning tasks and assist in project close-out requirementsWork with project team members to ensure a quality install and allocate proper manpower to project during start-up and commissioningOversee project installation quality control by consulting with Mechanical Construction installers throughout project lifespanInstall controls/wiring, duct detectors, align pump, evacuate/ fill refrigerant systems and other systems devices when neededStartup/ observe/ troubleshoot operations of project HVAC equipment and systemsTimely complete equipment informational and startup formsQualifications:Valid driver's license5 or more years of experience with commercial HVAC installation, maintenance and equipment repairKnowledge of refrigeration cycle, electrical and control wiring schematicsProficient with self-contained water-cooled HVAC units, data center type cooling equipment, VAVs, cooling towers, pumps, and VRV/VRF cooling systemsBenefits:Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, and Disabilities InsuranceFlexible Spending Account401(k) with Company MatchPTO & Company paid HolidaysAbout Us:Star Service, A Fidelity Company, is the leading HVAC service provider throughout the entire Gulf Coast, from Texas to Florida.
