Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and compliance. This position involves working closely with various departments to implement quality systems and processes that align with industry standards.

Add value to the company by:
· Leading quality teams in root cause analysis and appropriate corrective action
· Improving quality system through process capability studies and testing of proposed process improvements
Core Duties and Responsibilities:
Initiate, and expedite problem solving and corrective action reports
Gather additional nonconformance and failure data from suppliers, and customers as needed
Conduct Supplier evaluations and approvals
Conduct team problem solving sessions to determine root cause
Review and inspect fans against customer warranty failure claims
Perform product testing needed to support conclusions
Write failure analysis and root cause analysis reports
Report product failures to design engineering for possible design improvements
Conduct process capability studies to improve internal processes
Test improvement suggestions for statistical data on process performance
Support implementation of quality tools and systems
Conduct information meetings for Operations on Quality Performance and improvement plans.
Produce PPAP’s to be approved by customer.
Perform all other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Quality Manager
Standards Within the Position:
Report findings on nonconformance requests and failure conclusions in a timely fashion.
Accurately measure and provide data on the system performance.
Observe all policies established in the Multi-Wing Employee Handbook.
Qualifications
Bachelors’ degree in a technical program, or degree with manufacturing experience
Proven experience in quality engineering or a similar role, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
Ability to write accurate and concise technical reports.
Ability to identify, investigate, and analyze nonconformance causes
Ability to design and setup a mechanical test to support a thesis
Ability to use Microsoft Office Suite
Understanding of Multi-Wing components and part numbering system
Understanding fan failures and typical causes of failure
Basic Quality tools and problem solving techniques
Knowledge of statistics and statistical control
