If you think you are a good fit, we would love to hear from you!What You'll DoAs Server, you will be responsible for providing guests with friendly and efficient food and beverage service. In addition, you'll:* Provide positive dining experience by taking orders, delivering meals, fulfilling customer requests, refilling glasses and removing dishes at conclusion of courses* Maintain knowledge on current menu choices, specialties and menu deviations.* Help customers in dining selection by suggesting dishes, explaining house specials and answering questions regarding food preparation and ingredients.* Responsible for totaling charges, issuing checks, processing payments and issuing receipts.* Properly skilled to suggest appropriate wines and other beverages to go along with customers' meals.* Prepare room for dining by setting tables and refilling condiments.What it Takes* Age requirement of 18+ required* High School Diploma or equivalent work experience,* 6+ months of previous serving experience preferred* Must be able to obtain TIPS Certification* Ability to move equipment to and from the kitchen* Excellent oral communication and customer service skills* Ability to work non-standard hours including nights, weekends and holidays as neededWhat You'll ReceiveAt Sentry, your total rewards go beyond competitive compensation.
