Job Title: Operational Analyst
Location: Hybrid in Sheffield
Salary: £26,208 p.a. Salary will increase from 1 April to meet the Real Living Wage of £27,976.
Contract Type: Permanent
Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Right to live and work in the UK is required for this role.
Role Summary
We're looking for an Operational Analyst to support data-driven demand forecasting and capacity planning. You'll manage key data sources, produce performance insights, and work closely with teams across the business to help improve efficiency, productivity, and service delivery.
Main Duties And Responsibilities
Support forecasting and capacity planning activities with senior team members
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and validate operational data
Analyse trends and key factors impacting performance to inform planning
Maintain accurate data sources and reporting outputs
Organise team data and documentation to support effective delivery
Contribute positively in line with Optima Health values
Complete additional tasks as required to support the team
Experience, Skills, And Knowledge Required For The Role
Basic knowledge of resource and capacity planning
Exposure to analytics and modelling with strong attention to detail
Strong Excel skills, including data analysis and reporting
Clear and effective verbal and written communication skills
Ability to analyse and present quantitative and qualitative data
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify improvement opportunities
Logical thinker, able to build clear and persuasive arguments
Resilient and adaptable when managing challenges and change
Strong organisational skills with a focus on accurate, fit-for-purpose reporting
Ability to build and maintain trusted working relationships
Enthusiastic, proactive, and keen to learn
