This is an exciting leadership opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and is passionate about driving performance, leading teams, and advancing continuous improvement initiatives.What You'll DoAs the Manufacturing Manager, you will provide leadership for assigned production departments to ensure on-time delivery, high product quality, and operational efficiency. This role plays a critical part in driving performance through lean manufacturing, disciplined production processes, effective resource planning, and strong people leadership. Key ResponsibilitiesLead daily manufacturing operations to meet production schedules, quality standards, and customer expectationsPlan and manage plant capacity and production resourcesDrive Lean initiatives and continuous improvement programsServe as a champion for Lean and operational excellenceSupport plant KPIs and Shop Floor Management objectivesLead problem-solving efforts and cost-reduction initiativesEnsure compliance with OSHA and company safety programsParticipate in safety committees and incident investigationsCollaborate with Product Management and Engineering to optimize product and process integrationOversee resource planning, capital planning, and facility improvementsManage budgets, performance metrics, and production costsLead and develop supervisors and production teamsFoster employee engagement, accountability, and long-term job satisfactionSupport cross-plant collaboration and best-practice sharingLeadership Responsibilities Team Leadership & DevelopmentProvide overall direction and coordination of manufacturing teamsHire, train, coach, and evaluate supervisory staffAssign work, monitor performance, and resolve operational issuesPromote a safe, respectful, and productive workplaceMaintain compliance with company policies, ethics, and operational standardsWhat We're Looking For Required QualificationsBachelor's degree required, or currently working toward a degreeMinimum 6 years of progressive manufacturing experienceAt least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership roleStrong knowledge of production processes and operational managementExperience with Lean manufacturing principlesAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentStrong communication and problem-solving skills Preferred QualificationsLean Black Belt and/or Six Sigma Black BeltHow Success Is MeasuredSuccess in this role will be evaluated through performance in the following areas:Safety performance and reduction of recordable injuriesOn-time delivery and production plan attainmentProductivity and cost performanceQuality metrics and defect reductionInventory managementEmployee engagement and turnoverBudget performanceWork EnvironmentManufacturing environment with moderate noise levelsOccasional lifting up to 25 poundsMinimal domestic travel requiredWork Location: In personWhy Join SAF-HOLLAND?
