Overview As Technical Services Program Manager, you’ll shape the operational outlook, strategic roadmap, and performance goals for electrical infrastructure across offices, labs, and data centers. You’ll lead outsourced service providers and internal stakeholders to deliver reliable, efficient systems and a seamless workplace experience. This role emphasizes AI-enabled management, supplier partnerships, and data-driven performance to scale with Google’s growth. You will be the single accountable owner for programs that minimize disruptions and empower collaboration and well-being for Googlers. ResponsibilitiesDefine operational outlook, performance goals, and maintenance roadmaps for critical electrical infrastructureGuide and synchronize external consultants and outsourced service providers to align with business objectivesDevelop contractual structures, SLAs, and incentive programs to optimize vendor performanceManage utility relationships (including solar interconnects and incentives) for cost efficiency and energy objectivesLead cross-functional collaboration to standardize electrical infrastructure strategies across the Bay AreaEnsure capacity and reliability for amenities, research facilities, and commercial spaces via matrixed teamworkLeverage AI and technical data from UPS, generators, and distribution systems to drive vendor performance and maintenance optimizationAct as single point of accountability for programs and communicate outcomes to stakeholders and senior management Key requirementsBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent practical experience10 years of experience with design, construction, operations, and maintenance of medium and low voltage electrical systems in commercial buildings, labs, or light industrial facilities for a global organizationExperience managing outsourced service provider models, leading projects and programsExcellent verbal and written communicationExecutive presentation and reporting capabilitiesDetail-oriented with ability to communicate deliverables to senior managementUnderstanding of AI/ML tools and their applicability, functionality, and limitationsKnowledge of local and National Electrical Codes and Title 24Experience with AI-driven infrastructure management and data-driven performance optimization
