Cloud Support EngineerThis is a remote position. SHIFT TIMES: 9 AM to 6 PM Philippine time, Monday to Friday With possibility of covering UK and US shift as required Public Holidays may also be on-call, as required As a Cloud Support Engineer, you'll provide hands-on technical support in a healthcare environment, working closely with experienced engineers to build skills across cloud platforms, networking, and enterprise IT support. This is a remote role with rotating shifts to support UK and Australian operations, including scheduled weekends and public holidays.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide first and second-level IT support via phone, email, and remote toolsTroubleshoot and resolve technical issues, escalating complex cases when requiredMonitor and support cloud infrastructure, backups, and system performanceAssist with basic network configurations (VPNs, VLANs, routing)Support telephony systems and IT equipment deploymentsPerform system updates, patching, and basic security monitoringMaintain clear documentation and contribute to process improvementsWork alongside senior engineers on projects and ongoing learning initiativesRequirements1–3 years' experience in an MSP or IT support environment is strictly requiredRelevant IT qualification or hands-on support experienceBasic knowledge of networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and Windows environmentsStrong communication and customer service skillsEagerness to learn, problem-solve, and work in a fast-paced environmentAbility to work independently and as part of a teamFlexible availability for rotating shifts, weekends, and public holidaysCore SkillsFirst and second-level technical support experienceProblem-solving and analytical thinkingTime management and organizational skillsBasic cloud platform exposure (monitoring, backups, infrastructure support)Familiarity with remote support toolsDocumentation and process-following skillsTeam collaboration and adaptability in a fast-paced environmentWork Environment & ExpectationsWhile this is a work-from-home position, it is important to note that this is a full-time role—not a freelance or flexible-hour arrangement. You will be expected to work a fixed shift and maintain a high level of professionalism and accountability, just as you would in an office environment. This role requires:Discipline and commitment to set working hours (strict shift times, not flexible)Use of time tracking software during work hoursActive participation in team and client calls with your camera ONConsistent availability and responsiveness throughout your shiftTreating this as a long-term, full-time job—not a side gig or freelance taskPayroll is processed bi-monthly.
