Scientific Curator - Part-Time, Temp Position

This part-time position plays a critical role in data annotation and curation for the Mouse Phenome Database (MPD) program for data associated with aging (lifespan and related phenotypes), through diverse activities to gather, analyze, evaluate, and integrate information and analysis results using biomedical ontologies and other controlled vocabularies. Activities include, but are not limited to, obtaining aging data via literature or electronic-based means, determining nomenclature and data object identify/uniqueness, judging information or analyses for appropriateness of incorporation into MPD resources, and evaluating and utilizing biomedical ontologies. The individual will contribute to ongoing research and resource development to support GWAS and accurate cross-species analysis of phenotypes and disease.
