Your responsibilities will include building and enhancing automated test frameworks, integrating them into CI/CD pipelines, and driving best practices for test coverage and code quality. You will work closely with development teams, partners, technology leads, and agile teams to validate functionality, performance, and security.The Expertise You HaveBachelor s degree required; technology-related field preferred6-9 years of experience testing and automating front-end and webservice applicationsHands-on experience with object-oriented programming languages (Java, C#, Groovy, etc.), HTTP, RESTful web services, Jenkins, and GitExperience using UI test automation frameworks (Selenium, Protractor, etc.)Experience testing and automating webservices (HttpClient, RestAssured, JMeter, SoapUI, etc.)Ability to investigate and debug issues with front-end applications and web servicesExperience testing Angular web applicationsKnowledge of software engineering practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operationsExperience in delivering software in the Agile environment.Experience with APIs is a plusExperience with contact center integration projectsFamiliarity with Genesys or similar telephony platforms.Primary Responsibilities:Use your knowledge of testing and testability to influence better software design, promote accurate engineering practices, and ensure security and reliabilityActively participate in the development process by writing and maintaining application features and automated tests, including unit, component, integration, functional, performance, scenario, and interoperability testsSupport the team in creating reliable, portable, and trustworthy tests, and integrate them into CI/CD pipelinesCollaborate with team members on improving team's test coverage, release velocity and production healthDesign and develop test automation for front-end applications and web services using Groovy/Geb and Java/HttpClientParticipate in application code and test code reviews with the Agile teamThe Skills You BringPassionate about crafting the best end-to-end customer experienceOwns the outcome by taking personal accountability for delivering strong resultsExperience designing and building applications and using test automation frameworksMulti-stack engineer with knowledge in a breadth of technologies and test automation frameworks (Java, Groovy, Selenium, Geb, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTTP, RESTful web services)Extensive experience working with Java and its ecosystemStrong advocate for Test-Driven Development, writing testable and maintainable codeSelf-directed, proactive, and results-orientedKeen attention to detail and a problem-solving mindsetAble to learn large software systems end-to-end quicklyInterest in learning new technologies and driving their adoption.
