Industrial Maintenance Technician

Location: Painesville, OH Pay Rate: $20-$24/hour (based on experience) Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM Job SummaryThe Industrial Maintenance Technician is responsible for installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining complex industrial, electrical, and mechanical equipment. This role ensures machinery operates efficiently and safely, minimizing downtime and supporting overall production goals. The position involves preventative maintenance, routine inspections, and emergency repairs.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform routine inspections and diagnostic tests on machinery and equipmentMaintain detailed and accurate maintenance logs and reportsDiagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues using diagnostic toolsDisassemble and reassemble machinery to repair or replace defective partsPerform emergency repairs to restore equipment quicklyRead and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematicsInstall and calibrate new machinery and equipmentCollaborate with engineers and production teams during installationsFollow all safety regulations, company policies, and industry standardsMaintain inventory of spare parts and suppliesTrain production staff on routine maintenance and safety procedures RequirementsProven experience as an industrial maintenance technician, mechanic, or similar roleStrong mechanical and electrical aptitudeAbility to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and manualsExperience with hand and power toolsKnowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systemsFamiliarity with PLCs and control systems is a plusStrong problem-solving abilitiesPhysical stamina (standing, bending, lifting up to 50 lbs.)Effective communication skillsAdaptability in a fast-paced environment Nesco Resource offers a comprehensive benefits package for our associates, which includes a MEC (Minimum Essential Coverage) plan that encompasses Medical, Vision, Dental, 401K, and EAP (Employee Assistance Program) services.
