Top General Contractor with strong pipeline of contracts in the BillionsScheduling for very large Mission Critical ProjectsAbout Our ClientOur client is a Top General Contractor with over 50 years of large scale mission critical, light industrial and commercial projects throughout the Country.Job DescriptionSchedule Development & ManagementDevelop and maintain fully resource- and logic-loaded CPM schedules (Primavera P6 Required) for large-scale mission critical projects.Establish baseline schedules and manage updates throughout all project phases (preconstruction through close-out).Analyze schedule impacts resulting from design changes, scope growth, weather events, or unforeseen conditions.Perform critical path and float analysis to identify schedule risks and opportunities.Coordination & CollaborationPartner with Project Managers, Superintendents, Cost Control, and Estimating teams to align schedule logic with execution strategies.Coordinate schedule input from subcontractors and vendors, ensuring accuracy and contractual compliance.Support pull-planning and short-interval planning efforts with field leadership.Participate in owner, architect, and subcontractor meetings to present schedule status and recovery plans.Reporting & Claims SupportPrepare schedule narratives, progress reports, and schedule recovery plans.Support delay analysis, time impact analyses (TIA), and change order negotiations.Maintain schedule documentation to support claims avoidance and dispute resolution when required.Standards & Continuous ImprovementEnforce company scheduling standards, best practices, and QA/QC procedures.Mentor project schedulers or project team members as needed.Recommend process improvements, tools, or methodologies to enhance scheduling effectivenessMPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law. MPI encourages applications from minorities, women, the disabled, protected veterans and all other qualified applicants.The Successful ApplicantBachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).Minimum 7-10 years of construction scheduling experience with a General Contractor.Demonstrated experience managing schedules for large scale mission critical projects.Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6 (required); familiarity with Microsoft Project and Excel.Experience with Lean SchedulingExperience with Last PlannerStrong understanding of construction sequencing, means and methods, and subcontractor coordination.Ability to analyze complex schedules and clearly communicate impacts and recovery strategies.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.What's on OfferStrong Base SalaryBonus (15% to 20%) Consistently paid outHealthare Covered401K with match3 weeks PTOContactAnthony BaronQuote job ref
