No need to wait until payday!Rewards Program based on Years of Service and PLC Employee of the Year AwardYour responsibilities:Provides direct and individualized nursing care to residentsPrepares, administers and records medications in accordance with facility policyMonitors and records temperatures or blood pressures, dressing wounds, treating bedsores, giving enemas or douches, catheterizations, etc.Sterilizes equipment and supplies as neededCollects samples such as blood, urine and sputum, and performs routine laboratory tests on samplesPrepares residents for medical treatments, examinations and tests, explaining the procedures and their purposeAdministers prescribed emergency careAnswers residents' call-lights and determines how to assist them as neededAssess residents' conditions and vitals to determine and/or modify resident treatment plansMonitors, records and reports symptoms and changes in residents' conditionsProvides input for the development of individualized care plans and implements accordinglyMaintains accurate, detailed reports and recordsRecord residents' medical information and vital signsDocuments nursing history and physical assessment for assigned residentsUnderstands and reviews the facility's Healthcare Clinical Policies and Procedures and Safety GuidelinesQualifications1 year of previous long-term care experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experienceMust be licensed in the applicable state as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN)CPR and First Aid CertificationCheck us out on our website: www.prioritylc.comPriority Life Care provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws.$35 / hour#PLC1
