The position requires the ability to go from a processing model to hardware reality with a multi-discipline team.Onsite at WPAFBNo remote or hybrid#LI-HB1Essential Job Responsibilities+ Research and develop realizable solutions from modeling, simulation, and analysis+ Provide insightful documentation on analysis findings and new concepts+ Interact with sponsors to understand program priorities, share analysis results, and introduce new concepts+ Participate in design reviews, technical interchanges, working groups, and program status meetings, either as a presenter or as a reviewer+ Participate in meetings and collaborations at DoD and vendor locations+ Have the opportunity to propose and develop creative approaches for radar processingMinimum Qualifications+ 2 years relevant experience with Bachelors in Physics, Mathematics, Electrical Engineering related field; 0 years experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 6 years relevant experience.+ 3+ years of experience in Radar or RF systems+ Good written and oral communication skills.+ Self-starter - takes the initiative to research, learn, and deliver. Anticipates the play.+ Team player - humble, collaborative, and focused on making sure the entire team succeeds.+ Must be able to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI security clearance with advanced security checks+ Minimum Secret clearance is required to startPreferred Requirements+ 3+ years of experience scripting and coding signal processing and radar domain problems with Python, MATLAB and MATLAB Toolboxes+ 3+ years of experience with Radar/RF hardware; antennas, phased arrays, digital radar+ 3+ years of experience with RF test equipmentPhysical RequirementsOffice, industrial, or shipboard environment. Capable of climbing ladders and tolerating confined spaces and extreme temperature variances.
