The ideal candidate will have solid backend engineering experience, strong design skills, and hands-on expertise building scalable, high-performance enterprise applications.This is a hybrid onsite role in Alpharetta, GA (3 days per week), and candidates must be available for an in-person client interview.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Java and Spring BootDevelop and implement Microservices architectureBuild and consume RESTful Web ServicesImplement multi-threaded and high-performance applicationsWork with Kafka/MQ for event-driven architecture and messaging systemsPerform database integration with MS SQLOptimize application performance and conduct performance engineeringContribute to system design, architecture discussions, and best practicesCollaborate with frontend teams (Angular/React) for full-stack integrationUtilize AI tools such as GitHub Copilot to enhance development productivityParticipate in code reviews, testing, and deployment activitiesCommunicate effectively with stakeholders and cross-functional teamsRequired Skills & Experience7+ years of hands-on experience in Java developmentStrong expertise in Spring Framework / Spring BootExperience building RESTful Web ServicesStrong understanding of Multi-threading and ConcurrencyHands-on experience with Kafka or other Messaging systems (MQ)Strong experience with MS SQL and database integrationExperience in Performance tuning and optimizationSolid Design and Architecture skillsExposure to Angular or React (nice to have)Experience using AI development tools like GitHub Copilot (nice to have)Strong communication skills
