Production Technicians- All Shifts The Line Mechanic is responsible for safely troubleshooting and repairing production equipment within the manufacturing facility and ensuring that quality products are produced timely and efficiently.Responsibilities:Safely troubleshoot and repair a production line efficiently and effectively in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's), food/employee safety requirements and guidelines to ensure daily production goals are achievedEffectively prioritize equipment issues in order of importance, manage downtime, and communicate issues to peers and leadershipUtilize Digital Production System (Redzone) to track downtime, perform quality compliance documents and communicate with support functionsComplete change overs for assigned equipment and/or production linePerform preventative maintenance on assigned production equipmentLearn and maintain customer standards for product specifications and acceptable qualityRead and follow instructions regarding daily expectations, requirements, or specificationsAccurately complete all quality, traceability, and production paperworkReports any product deficiencies, food or safety concerns to supervisorMaintains a clean and sanitary workstation and ensures all tools are accounted forFollow all safety procedures and actively participate in safety training and safety system ownership initiativesMaintain safe and efficient use of equipment, tools, and person; reports any injury, accident, or unsafe condition to supervisor immediatelySupport and comply with GMP's; understand and follow emergency action planSupport food safety, quality, and legalityEnsure the operation is providing food-safe, quality products which meet or exceed all product specifications and regulatory requirementsOther duties as assignedQualifications High school diploma or GED2+ years of machine troubleshooting/repair experienceTechnical skills include the ability to complete changeovers, administer preventative maintenance, repair one production line, and operate production equipmentInterpersonal skills include good verbal and written communication, good time management skills and the ability to follow rules and directionsLeadership skills include a positive attitude, being a team player and self-leadership
