Job Title: Outpatient Registered Nurse (RN) – Primary Care (Pediatrics & Adults)Location: White Plains, NYDepartment: Primary CareEmployment Type: Full-TimePosition Overview:A newly established outpatient facility within a leading health system in White Plains, NY is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Primary Care team. This role supports both pediatric and adult patient populations, with a strong preference for candidates who bring a background in pediatrics. The RN will play a key role in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in a collaborative, fast-paced outpatient setting.Key Responsibilities:Provide comprehensive nursing care to pediatric and adult patients in an outpatient primary care environmentPerform patient assessments, including vital signs, medical history intake, and symptom evaluationAdminister medications, immunizations, and treatments in accordance with provider ordersSupport providers during examinations and proceduresEducate patients and families on treatment plans, preventive care, and health maintenanceCoordinate care, including referrals, follow-ups, and patient outreachMaintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR) systemEnsure compliance with all clinical protocols, policies, and regulatory requirementsPromote a safe, clean, and organized clinical environmentQualifications:Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of New YorkBachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) requiredPediatric (Peds) experience strongly preferredCurrent BLS certification (ACLS preferred, if applicable)Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skillsAbility to work effectively with both pediatric and adult populationsStrong commitment to patient-centered care and teamworkPreferred Experience:Prior experience in an outpatient or ambulatory care settingExperience working in primary care or family medicineComfort with a diverse patient population across the lifespan
