Medical Assistant Full-Time - Internal Medicine / Family Practice# Starting Rate:#$22.00, negotiable with experience# Highland Medical, a division#of Montefiore Nyack Hospital, recently certified as a #Great Place to Work,# has#an opportunity for a full-time Medical Assistant to assist our Clarkstown Medical practice. The Medical Assistant works within our clinical team to provide excellent patient care to our patients. The Medical Assistant is responsible for rooming the patients in preparation to see the Physician and performing Medical Assistant duties such as taking vitals and EKGs. The Medical Assistant will also update patient information in the electronic medical records system.# Essential Job Qualifications: Education: A High School diploma or equivalent required.# Attended an accredited Medical Assistant or PCT Program preferred. Experience: Experience working in a practice setting#as a Medical Assistant preferred Certifications/Licenses:#BLS certification (AHA) required.#Current Medical Assistant certification preferred Other: Experience using an electronic medical records system; EPIC preferred.
