Senior Project Scheduler — Owner's Representative | Data Center Program | Hybrid (Texas)Overview Longest Path Group has been engaged to identify a Senior Project Scheduler for a large-scale, multi-site data center program on behalf of an owner client. This is a hybrid position structured around three weeks of remote work and one week per month on-site in Texas. The selected candidate will serve in a true owner's representative capacity — embedded in the program to drive schedule integrity, cross-team alignment, and decision-ready reporting from design through commissioning. What You'll Be DoingOwn the scheduling function as the client's representative across a complex, multi-site data center programBuild, maintain, and analyze Primavera P6 schedules with full logic ties, activity coding, and structured WBSLead weekly update cycles in direct coordination with project managers, field teams, design consultants, and commissioning leadsConduct monthly on-site visits to validate actual progress, confirm sequencing, and verify remaining durationsProduce weekly and monthly schedule reports with clear narrative, risk flags, and actionable recommendations for owner leadershipSupport schedule risk workshops and what-if scenario modelingProtect baseline integrity and enforce change management protocols across all schedule revisionsTrack and integrate long-lead procurement, equipment fabrication, and delivery milestones into the master scheduleCoordinate construction activities against commissioning and startup sequences for critical power and mechanical systemsMaintain clean, audit-ready documentation and schedule narratives throughout the program lifecycle What You Bring5–9 years of scheduling experience on major capital programs or data center projectsAdvanced Primavera P6 proficiency — this is non-negotiableDirect experience supporting owners or functioning in an owner's representative roleAbility to validate field progress through structured site reviews, not just reportsSolid grasp of commissioning logic, MEP coordination, and critical path methodologyStrong communicator — you can translate a complex schedule into clear guidance for non-scheduler stakeholdersBachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field preferred Compensation & BenefitsCompetitive base salary commensurate with experienceMedical, dental, and vision coverage401(k) with participationPTO and paid holidaysProfessional development support Work StructurePrimarily remote with approximately 25% travel — one week per month on-site in Texas for site walks, coordination meetings, and owner alignment sessions.
