Production Process Engineer

About the Role Join our team as a Production Process Engineer, where you will drive operational excellence by optimizing manufacturing workflows and enhancing technical precision. You will leverage your expertise in CNC programming and industrial systems to develop robust manufacturing solutions that directly improve product quality and facility throughput. Responsibilities Develop and optimize complex CNC part programs for lathes and mills using advanced CAD/CAM software. Establish precise time standards and manufacturing methods to maximize facility utilization and efficiency. Analyze production data to design user-oriented solutions that integrate seamlessly with existing technical applications. Perform detailed cost estimations from customer RFQs and track actual production costs against projections. Lead the implementation and training for new manufacturing programs, systems, and machining procedures. Troubleshoot complex operational malfunctions and provide technical guidance to ensure continuous production flow. Create and maintain essential documentation, including process travelers, setup sheets, and comprehensive logs. Manage and document all R&D activities to support long-term process innovation. Qualifications Required Skills Associate degree or higher in Engineering or a related technical field. Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in a precision machining environment. Advanced proficiency in CAD/CAM software and CNC programming. Strong problem-solving abilities with a focus on project management and organizational effectiveness. Excellent verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate across departments. Preferred Skills Proven experience in time study analysis and machine optimization. Demonstrated success in developing cost analysis models for manufacturing. Experience supporting product realization reviews and cross-functional team coordination.
