If you’re passionate about energy efficiency and want to accelerate your career in consulting, this is the place for you.Job Responsibilities:Lead technical evaluations and support energy efficiency programs for commercial and industrial clients.Conduct onsite and virtual inspections to verify installations, collect data, and deploy metering equipment.Perform energy and peak demand savings calculations using industry-standard tools and methodologies.Provide technical assistance and collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders.Research emerging technologies, funding opportunities, and best practices in energy efficiency.Analyze energy performance for new construction and LEED-certified projects.Support QA/QC reviews, benefit-cost analyses, and program evaluations.Prepare clear, concise reports and presentations for clients and stakeholders.Research and identify tools and resources to support program evaluation effortsMaintain and be responsible for complete and reliable records of data, notes, findings, and photos from site inspections and analyses.Coordinate regularly with internal engineering staff and project managersParticipate in regular meetings and conference calls with both internal and external partiesSupport the development of written reports and slideshow presentationsCoordinate with colleagues to ensure proper organization of files, paperwork, and data entryCommunicate professionally (oral and written) and promptly with customers, clients, contractors/trade allies and the teamPerform other duties and responsibilities as assignedQualifications:Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Engineering preferred2-5 years of professional experience with energy efficiency consultancy, sales, construction, lighting, HVAC, and/or as field technicianExperience with probability, statistics, and regression analysesExperience performing quality assurance and quality control (QA QC) reviewsExperience with energy modeling software, such as eQUEST and Trane TRACEFamiliarity with industrial and manufacturing processes and production operationsExperience coordinating various parties and accounting for multiple variablesProfessional Skills:Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to articulate your ideas in a virtual working environmentSelf-starting and having a keen eye for proactive ways to support clients and assist internal staff to deliver high quality research to clients.Comfortable and experienced working in a remote environmentExcellent organizational skillsStrong mathematical skills and competence with spreadsheet analysesProficient with Microsoft Office products (specifically Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, SharePoint)Strong data entry skills in entering information in tracking systems/databasesMust be able to handle a wide work variety and work in a fast-paced environmentMust be a detail-oriented, organized, self-starter, and have an ability to prioritize workloadMiscellaneous Job Information:Must have a valid driver’s license and access to a vehicleDomestic travel within the United States approximately 50% of the time.
