Job DetailsLocation: 100% Onsite - Jersey City, NJPay Rate: $57.25/HR (Max)Experience Level: Senior (10+ Years)Role SummaryThe Trade Services Operations professional is responsible for the end-to-end processing of trade finance products, including Import and Export Letters of Credit and Documentary Collections. The role supports accurate execution, settlement, and servicing of trade transactions in accordance with internal policies, external rules, and applicable regulatory requirements.Key ResponsibilitiesProcess Import Letters of Credit, including acceptances, discounts, and payments. Support Export Letters of Credit activities, including advising, confirmations, booking of commissions (both in advance and in arrears), and daily accrual processing. Book and manage syndicated Letter of Credit transactions, ensuring accurate execution and ongoing administration. Process Import and Export Documentary Collections, including registration, acceptances, settlements, payments, and associated financing activities. Perform invoicing activities related to Import and Export Letters of Credit. Ensure all transactions are processed in compliance with ICC rules, internal controls, and established operating procedures. Qualifications and SkillsBachelor’s degree or equivalent; Master’s degree is a plus. Proven experience in Documentary Letters of Credit, with a strong working knowledge of applicable International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) rules (e.g., UCP, URC, ISBP, as applicable). Strong attention to detail, risk awareness, and ability to operate accurately in a high-volume, control-focused environment. Certificate for Documentary Credit Specialist (CDCS) designation is a plus.
