BUSINESS UNIT and/or DEPARTMENT : Standard / Pr ojectSALARY GRADE : ( compensation team to determine ) Overtime Eligibility : ( compensation will determine )REPORTING RELATIONSHIPSReports To: General Manager - BUDirect Reports: Union field employeesJOB SUMMARY:The Construction Project Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing construction projects from inception through completion. This role ensures projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory standards.RESPONSIBILITIES:Plan, manage, and supervise construction projects from pre-construction through close-outDevelop project estimates, schedules, budgets, and work plansCoordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, suppliers, and clientsMonitor project progress and adjust schedules or resources as neededReview contracts, drawings, specifications, and change ordersEnsure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and company policiesManage project costs, approve invoices, and control expensesConduct site meetings and provide regular project status reportsIdentify risks and implement mitigation strategiesResolve issues, conflicts, and delays efficientlyOther duties as assignedMINIMUM AND/OR PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:EDUCATION :High School Diploma or GED equivalentBachelor's Degree in Construction Management , Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)Proven experience as a Project Manager in constructionEXPERIENCE :Preferably 3 – 5 years experience in Estimation, Bidding, or Project ManagementExperience with commercial or industrial constructionOSHA safety trainingCERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS :Add required itemsSKILL REQUIREMENTS :Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulationsExcellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skillsProficiency in project management softwareStrong organizational and problem-solving abilitiesAbility to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyPHYSICAL DEMANDSCombination of office and construction site workMay require travel to job sites and extended hours to meet project deadlinesThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this jobWORK ENVIRONMENT:This job operates in both an office and a field environment.
