Brickhouse is actively recruiting a Liferay Developer"/"Liferay Engineer who is knowledgeable in the Financial Sector!Job Title: Liferay Developer"/"Liferay EngineerJob Location: Atlanta, GeorgiaVisa Type – H1B,Green Card, US CitizenWorkplace Type: onsite/HybridWorkplace Schedule: 4 days onsite, 1 day remote.Duration: 6 months initial contract with possibility of extension for up to additional 12 monthsRole Details:Independently performs software design, development, test, and integration for Bank applications and provides support of those applications, with a focus on Java and Liferay DXP portal application development.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSPerforms all functions of software engineers, with a focus on Java and Liferay Portal application development.Under limited supervision, develops innovative approaches to address business needs. Creates detailed design specifications for subsequent programming and implementation.Participates in application design sessions – proposing and documenting technical alternatives required to achieve business objectives, suggesting improvements to reduce technical debt.Implements new system software or modifications to existing software that are high-quality.Writes and executes unit tests necessary to ensure the bank applications developed in Liferay DXP to meet the requirements.Maintains application builds and deployments. Assists in application configuration.Performs peer reviews to ensure adherence to standards and accuracy of the implementation of requirements.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIESExcellent oral and written communication skills required for interacting with project stakeholders and team members.Excellent knowledge in Java 8 and above, Java Server Pages, Liferay Portal DXP 7.2 and above, Git, SQL Server, HTML, JavaScript, CSSBrickhouse Resources is a full-service staff augmentation firm offering contract, contract-to-hire and permanent placement services.
