Basic Qualifications Bachelor of Science degree or higher from anaccredited college in Electrical Engineering orequivalent, with a minimum of eight years ofprofessional experience Ability to obtain a Secret clearanceExperienced working in a production environment and troubleshooting CCA hardware.Proven background providing production line support, root-cause analysis, and corrective actionsStrong hands on skills and use of oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, logic analyzers, network analyzers, power suppliers & automated test equipmentExperienced dispositioning non-conforming hardware (Material Review Board)Job DescriptionYou will be the Electrical Engineering Hardware Lead for JASSM. Our team is responsible for designing, analyzing, and supporting the analog and power circuits that power the Joint Air to Surface Standoff Missile (JASSM) family. We drive reliability across production, troubleshoot hardware issues, and partner with suppliers to ensure every circuit meets mission critical performance.What You Will Be DoingAs the Electrical Engineering Hardware Lead you will be the technical subject matter expert for all JASSM Ocala Hardware and Production. You’ll work in a fast paced production environment, providing rapid, accurate solutions to hardware challenges while collaborating across engineering, test, and manufacturing groups. Your responsibilities will include: Support all JASSM circuit‑card, harness, and subsystem deliveries, handling inspection and troubleshooting both onsite and at supplier locations. Collaborate with the JASSM All‑Up‑Round (AUR) Hardware Engineering lead in Troy to prioritize, investigate, and track AUR yield issues that cause returns to Ocala. Apply expertise in circuit‑card design, integration and test (especially automated test), printed wiring board (IPC Class 3), J‑standards, parts management/derating, EMI enclosures, and subsystem environmental testing (ESS, HALT, HASS). Lead fault investigations, conduct supplier assessments, and serve as a key member of Test Readiness Reviews from a hardware design and analysis perspective. Utilize MFC Quality Notes and act as the MRB engineer for JASSM.
