Job Title: Physical Therapist - Outpatient Location- Calhoun GA Shift: 8hr Day Shift - 40 hours Schedule: Monday-Friday, normal business hours Contract Length: 13 weeksA hospital-affiliated outpatient therapy clinic in Georgia is seeking an experienced Physical Therapist for a full-time travel assignment. This clinic provides occupational, physical, and speech therapy services and is looking for a therapist who can manage a diverse outpatient caseload including orthopedic and neurological patients.The Physical Therapist will evaluate patients, create individualized treatment plans, deliver skilled therapy interventions, monitor progress, and provide education to patients and families to support recovery and functional improvement. These duties are consistent with standard physical therapist responsibilities defined by major healthcare and labor sources.Facility detailsThis is a hospital-affiliated outpatient rehab clinic specializing in occupational, physical, and speech therapy services. The clinic sees approximately 10-15 patients per day, uses 30-minute treatment blocks, and schedules 1-hour evaluations for complex cases and 30-minute evaluations/treatments for simpler cases.The department is supported by 2 therapists, 1 Office Coordinator, and 1 Rehab Aide on site. The EMR used in the clinic is Epic.Patient populationThe therapist will treat a mixed outpatient caseload that includes:General orthopedicsDebilityStroke/CVANeurological disordersMulti-traumaFracturesOutpatient physical therapy commonly involves working with patients who have musculoskeletal injuries, fractures, neurological disorders, and other mobility-limiting conditions, which matches this role's patient mix.RequirementsActive Georgia Physical Therapist license required.Current BLS certification required. Georgia PT licensing guidance indicates current CPR/BLS-level certification is required for PT practice and licensure compliance.1+ year of relevant experience preferred.First-time travelers will not be considered.Schedule and orientationThe assignment offers either 5x8s or 4x10s, with the clinic determining a consistent day off for the duration of the assignment. There is no weekend rotation, no call, no holiday requirement, and no floating.Orientation includes NEO plus 5 days of departmental orientation.
