This role focuses on maintaining 100% uptime forhigh-density electrical systems that support electronics manufacturing. They ensure allwork complies with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local safety regulations.**Detailed Description**● Project Leadership & Management: Oversee entire electrical projects fromdesign to completion, including managing budgets, obtaining permits, andscheduling work.● Infrastructure Management: Lead the installation and maintenance ofhigh-voltage power distribution systems, including Uninterruptible PowerSupplies (UPS), Power Distribution Units (PDUs), and emergency dieselgenerators.● System Design & Planning: Interpret complex blueprints and technical diagramsto plan wiring layouts and equipment installations for residential, commercial, orindustrial facilities.● Supervision: Lead contractor installations, ensuring all work adheres to NFPA70E safety standards and local electrical codes.● Monitoring & Compliance: Use Building Management Systems (BMS) andElectrical Power Monitoring Systems (EPMS) to track real-time power quality andrespond to alarms.● Advanced Troubleshooting: Diagnose and repair intricate electrical malfunctionsthat require expert-level technical knowledge, such as issues with programmablelogic controllers (PLCs) or high-voltage systems.● Preventative Maintenance: Execute scheduled maintenance on transformers,circuit breakers, and automatic transfer switches (ATS) during strict off-peakmaintenance windows.● Safety: Conduct thorough inspections to verify that installations meet strictsafety standards and regulatory requirements to prevent hazards.**Knowledge/Skills/Competencies**● Licensure: Must possess a valid State Master Electrician license,● Technical Expertise: Advanced knowledge of electrical theory, power distribution,motor controls, and high-voltage equipment.● Leadership & Communication: Strong ability to direct teams, coordinate withother trades (e.g., HVAC, plumbing), and communicate technical details tostakeholders.**Physical Demands**+ Duties of the position are performed in a manufacturing environment with frequent exposure to noise, dust, chemicals, operating machinery, temperature extremes, hazardous substances, etc.+ Duties may require extended periods of sitting and sustained visual concentration on a computer monitor or on numbers and other detailed data.+ Repetitive manual movements (e.g., data entry, using a computer mouse, using a calculator, etc.) are frequently required.**Typical Experience**+ Three to six years of relevant experience**Typical Education**+ Bachelor's degree in a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.+ Educational requirements may vary by geography.**Notes**This job description is not intended to be an exhaustive list of all duties and responsibilities of the position.
