HR ManagerLocation: Tuscson, AZEmployment Type: Full-TimeIndustry: ConstructionCompany Size: 250 Employees | Multi-State OperationsAbout the OpportunityCV Resources is partnering with a growing, multi-state construction company to identify an experienced HR Manager. This organization has approximately 250 employees across multiple states and is seeking a strong HR leader to oversee daily HR operations while partnering closely with the Director of HR on strategic initiatives.This role will manage two HR Generalists and play a key role in ensuring compliance, consistency, and operational excellence across all locations.Position OverviewThe HR Manager will oversee the full spectrum of human resources functions, balancing hands-on operational work with leadership responsibilities. This individual must have strong multi-state experience, thrive in a fast-paced construction environment, and bring deep knowledge of employment law and HR best practices.Key ResponsibilitiesManage and develop two HR GeneralistsPartner with the Director of HR on strategic planning and organizational initiativesOversee employee relations, investigations, and performance managementEnsure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws across multiple statesOversee payroll and HRIS administration (ADP required)Manage benefits administration and open enrollmentSupport recruiting efforts in partnership with hiring managersOversee workers’ compensation, unemployment claims, and compliance reportingMaintain and update company policies and proceduresPartner with operations leadership to support workforce planning and field teamsQualificationsSHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification requiredBachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field preferred5+ years of progressive HR experience2+ years managing direct reportsExperience supporting a multi-state workforceConstruction industry experience strongly preferredStrong knowledge of employment law and complianceExperience with ADP (Workforce Now preferred)Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skillsCompensation & BenefitsCompetitive salary based on experience: $80-$110k + bonusComprehensive benefits packageOpportunity to work with a stable and growing organization
