Business Operations & Systems Intern

MSB is seeking a Business Operations & Systems Intern to support internal operational initiatives for a growing defense contractor. The intern will assist with process documentation, asset tracking, administrative workflow improvements, and light marketing or communications support. This role provides hands-on experience helping build scalable business systems and improving internal operations. Interns will work directly with company leadership and will be given ownership of defined projects that contribute to the company's operational growth.Essential Duties & Responsibilities:The intern will assist with a variety of operational and administrative initiatives, including but not limited to:Support development and maintenance of internal asset and equipment tracking systemsAssist with documentation of internal business processes and standard operating procedures (SOPs)Help organize and improve internal business systems and operational workflowsSupport office operations including supply tracking and vendor coordinationConduct research on tools or technologies that may improve operational efficiencyAssist with organization of company documentation and shared file systemsProvide light marketing or communications support such as LinkedIn updates or internal announcementsParticipate in operational meetings and assist leadership with project-based initiativesInterns will be expected to demonstrate initiative, organization, and attention to detail while contributing to real operational projects.Preferred Major:Students currently pursuing a degree from the University of Alabama in Huntsville College of Business, including:ManagementManagement Information Systems (MIS)MarketingFinanceAccountingStudents interested in business operations, entrepreneurship, or organizational systems are encouraged to apply.Minimum Qualifications:Currently enrolled undergraduate studentMinimum 2.75 GPA preferredStrong organizational and communication skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)Ability to work independently and manage assigned tasksDetail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilityWork Schedule:Approximately 15-20 hours per weekIn-person role in Huntsville, Alabama (5 minutes from UAH Campus)Scheduling flexibility provided to accommodate class schedulesAll positions at MSB Analytics, Inc. are subject to background investigations.
