Job Description We are seeking a hands-on Professional Services Team Leader to lead a team of consultants delivering implementation services to our customers. This role blends people leadership with client delivery—ideal for someone who enjoys driving team performance while remaining close to customer outcomes.You will be responsible for managing day-to-day team operations, ensuring successful project delivery, and contributing directly through billable work. This role plays a critical part in driving customer satisfaction, revenue performance, and operational excellence across our Professional Services function.This is a Hybrid position based on-site three days per week in Atlanta, GA or Austin, TX.Key Responsibilities What You’ll Do Lead, coach, and develop a team of consultants delivering HCM implementation services Oversee daily operations, including resource planning, project oversight, and performance management Ensure successful delivery of customer projects, including hands-on participation in billable work Drive team performance against revenue targets and service level agreements (SLAs) Manage customer escalations and ensure timely, effective resolution Establish and continuously improve processes to increase efficiency and delivery quality Act as a technical and functional expert in the Sage HCM solution, helping customers maximize value Partner cross-functionally to improve customer outcomes and delivery consistencyWhat we’re looking for 3+ years of experience in consulting practice management, ideally within HCM or payroll software Proven track record of leading high-performing consulting or professional services teams Strong experience in project delivery, resource planning, and escalation management Ability to balance leadership responsibilities with hands-on client delivery Excellent communication skills with the ability to set expectations and build trust with customers Highly organized with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment Strong sense of ownership and urgency in driving resultsPerks?
