Full Stack Engineer

OverviewWe are looking for a highly talented Full Stack Engineer to join our forward-thinking team, someone who thrives in a dynamic and fast-paced environment and can take concepts from idea to deployment. You will play a key role in advancing our CNTIENT platform automated scheduling and collection feasibility solution with state-of-the-art machine learning algorithms and models. Proficiency in Python, Django, JavaScript, and experience in building APIs is essential.LocationRemote or Washington, DC areaWhat you will be doingCreate easy to use APIs and UIs centered around providing the best possible user experience.Develop, test and deploy web-based solution leveraging Python, Django, and JavaScript to build intelligent space systems to modernize satellite operations.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize improvements that address key milestones and requirements.Explore, visualize, and process aerospace data.What you will needUS Citizenship, Permanent Resident (Green) Card.Ability to gain or hold a security clearance (Secret or higher).Bachelor's degree in a relevant field: Computer Science, Engineering, etc. or equivalent work experience.Bachelor's, Master's degree, or Ph.D. in a relevant field: Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Operations Research, Computational Physics, Computer Science, Engineering, etc.2-5 years of professional experience in Python, Django and JavaScript (Vue.js or similar).2+ years of professional experience building and shipping containerized applications using Docker.Proficiency building APIs (GraphQL, REST) using best practices.Proficiency in writing tests via Pytest and familiarity with Vitest.Ability to work in a cross functional environment and work collaboratively on complex tasks.Enjoys solving problems and possesses outstanding analytical skills.Experience building web-based applications in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).Nice to haveAn understanding of geospatial data and information.An understanding of satellite operations.Experience with 3D mapping tools (Cesium, Mapbox, etc.).Production experience operating Kubernetes clusters, including writing Helm charts and managing deployments, services, and ingress.BenefitsOne of the most interesting aspects of working at a startup company is gaining equity, which means our success is your success.
