Maintenance Technician 2nd Shift (55947)
Position OverviewThe Maintenance Technician IV plays a critical role in ensuring optimal performance and reliability of production equipment. This position is responsible for maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of machinery, including electrical systems and PLC programming, to support continuous and efficient operations.Key ResponsibilitiesRespond promptly to production requests and resolve equipment issues to minimize downtime.Perform routine and preventive maintenance on production equipment.Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities.Prepare requisitions for tools, parts, and supplies needed for equipment upkeep.Diagnose and repair electrical/electronic systems, PLC controls, and general production line machinery.Identify root causes of recurring issues and implement permanent corrective solutions.Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Safe Quality Food (SQF) standards to deliver products that exceed customer expectations.Perform additional duties as assigned by management.Required QualificationsAssociate degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school, or comparable experience.Minimum of 5 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and standard practices.Extensive knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.Proficiency in troubleshooting and problem-solving across multiple systems.Electrical expertise, including PLC programming and controls.Ability to weld (TIG, MIG, and Stick).Skilled in reading and interpreting schematics and technical drawings.Familiarity with OSHA regulations and safety standards.Basic computer skills.Preferred QualificationsAssociate degree or equivalent technical education.5+ years of experience in food manufacturing.Experience with ammonia refrigeration systems and PSM compliance.SAP system experience.Hours: 3pm to 11pmCompetitive pay depending on experience and full benefitsPay Details: $30.00 to $36.00 per hour Equal Opportunity Employer/Veterans/DisabledMilitary connected talent encouraged to applyTo read our Candidate Privacy Information Statement, which explains how we will use your information, please navigate to The Company will consider qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records in accordance with federal, state, and local laws and/or security clearance requirements, including, as applicable:The California Fair Chance ActLos Angeles City Fair Chance OrdinanceLos Angeles County Fair Chance Ordinance for EmployersSan Francisco Fair Chance OrdinanceMassachusetts Candidates Only: It is unlawful in Massachusetts to require or administer a lie detector test as a condition of employment or continued employment.
