What You'll Do...As the Production Process Lead, you will perform all tasks related to the day-to-day equipment operation, compliance, inventory control and materials movement. Reporting directly to the Production Shift Manager, you will be responsible for leading the team in a safe and efficient manner to meet production goals, provide guidance, and effectively manage collaborative shift changeovers. This is how you'll do it...Maintaining a safe work environment by following all safety programs and procedures and ensuring compliance of your teamFollowing Good Manufacturing Practices, and holding your team accountable to the sameMaintaining organization and cleanliness of the production areaConsistently monitoring product quality and working directly with the quality technician team to address issues with urgencyPerforming system administrative tasks in Deacom with regards to product and material movement. This includes issuing and de-issuing items including shippers, case liners and totes in coordination with Warehouse Supply as well as reconciliation of inventory.Complete periodic checks and verifications in Redzone including but not limited to pre-shift inspections, daily attendance, shift run starts/ends, shift pass downs and sanitation checks.Escalating sensitive team member personal or performance issues to the production manager as appropriateWhat You'll Bring....A passion for producing the highest quality product in a safe and efficient mannerNatural collaboration and relationship building skills with an excitement to partner with others cross-functionallyAccountability for your results and how those are achievedCuriosity with a constant desire to learn and seek improvementsGenuine in your desire to help make the world a kinder place, committing to always spreading and celebrating kindnessYou have....Prior supervisory or line leadership experience in a manufacturing environmentPrior commercial bakery or food manufacturing experienceDemonstrated de-escalation and conflict resolution skillsProven ability to work in a fast-moving environmentStrong, effective verbal communication skills and the ability to communicate non-verbally with team members speaking many languagesStrong systems aptitude; proficient in Microsoft office applications with emphasis on Excel, Word, and OutlookPrior experience with ERP system required; Redzone experience a plusAbility to manage multiple projects and competing prioritiesPhysical Demands:The below list outlines the physical requirements of all team members in this role:Use hands to perform production tasks and complete required paperworkConstantly stand and walk about work area for duration of shift.Ability to lift and stack boxes of product from 5-25 pounds throughout the dayAbility to push/pull up to 30 lbs. occasionallyWearing of proper PPE including hearing protection, safety glasses and safety shoes for duration of shift
