This individual will work cross-functionally with production, vendors, and leadership to ensure successful project execution, while maintaining compliance, quality, and cost efficiency.Key Responsibilities:Develop engineering designs, specifications, and cost estimatesConduct feasibility studies and provide technical recommendationsLead end-to-end project execution from concept through commissioningCoordinate with vendors, contractors, and internal plant teamsReview engineering work to ensure compliance with codes, standards, and safety regulationsOversee equipment installation and ensure adherence to timelines and budgetsManage project budgets, forecasts, and financial performanceLead project planning, scope development, and bid evaluationsMaintain accurate project documentation including drawings, manuals, and reportsSupport production line upgrades, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement initiativesRequired Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related technical field5+ years of project engineering experience in a manufacturing environmentStrong project management and budget management skillsProficiency in AutoCAD or similar design softwareManufacturing experience required (food manufacturing strongly preferred)Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilitiesProven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyStrong communication and cross-functional collaboration skillsPreferred Qualifications:Experience in food manufacturing environmentsExposure to meat processing or kill floor operationsExperience managing large-scale capital projectsKnowledge of food processing systems, equipment, and industry standards
