Pharmacy Clerk

Job Description We are seeking empathetic individuals who are driven to enhance the quality of care provided to patients at a pharmacy whose clientele include the underserved and underinsured. You will have the opportunity to utilize your knowledge and expertise in a modern facility that is not only visually appealing but also complements its surroundings.Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Accurately and efficiently transcribing, and processing prescriptions under the supervision of a pharmacist.Assist in the dispensing and distribution of medicationsModel and deliver exceptional customer service to patients and members of the medical community, cultivating a strong, positive working-relationship on behalf of the pharmacyAid the pharmacist in inventory and business supply managementMaintenance of pharmacy recordsMust be able to perform the essential functions of a pharmacy clerk with or without reasonable accommodation.Reconciliation of billing from third party payersAny other duties related to the practice of pharmacy as deemed necessary by the pharmacistRequirementsHigh School Diploma/GED.Working knowledge of brand/generics, strength and dosage formsAbility to read, understand and transcribe pharmaceutical and prescription informationAbility to become proficient in learningStarting Pay: $18-20 / hr
