Legal Administrative Assistant

Fast paced law firm needs a Legal Administrative AssistantGreet clients and visitors professionally, direct them to the appropriate attorney, and maintain confidentiality of all informationAnswer, screen, and route incoming calls; take accurate messages for attorneys and staff; flag urgent or time-sensitive matters Schedule and confirm appointments, court dates, and meetings; send reminders; coordinate travel and accommodations for attorneysset up, organize and maintain paper and electronic filing systems in accordance with recognized procedures and standardsupdate status and tracking reportsplan and schedule appointments, conferences, meetings and travel arrangements for legal staffcoordinate logistics for meetings and conferencesprovide administrative support including copying, scanning and faxingmaintain supplies for officedata entryEducation and ExperienceHigh school diploma or GED; legal experience preferred but not required Excellent written and verbal communication skills; strong interpersonal abilities.Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Access) and legal document management software.Detail-oriented with strong proofreading and organizational skills.Ability to multitask, work independently, and adapt to changing priorities.minimum of 3 years office experiencein-depth working knowledge of relevant computer programs including MS OfficeKey Job Skills and Competenciesorganizational skillsself starter, able to complete tasks with minimal supervisionable to adapt to changing prioritiesdeadline-drivenstrong verbal and written communication skillsattention to detail and accuracyable to effectively handle sensitive and confidential informationability to work effectively as part of a teamable to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environmentPay/Hours/Benefits$18-25 range/hour based on experienceFull time 35-40 hours/ weekHealth Insurance for Full Time EmployeesFlexible Work Environment
