Cage Cashier Job Category: FinanceLocation: Wildhorse Resort Casino, Pendleton, OR 97801, USADescription Wage Range: $14.05 + Tips (Tip average $12.07)Open Until Filled: 1st Closing Date April 1, 2026Essential Job Functions:Ensure customer satisfaction, casino play, and return visits by providing prompt, efficient, and friendly service.Service guest needs accordingly - providing change, cashing tickets, etc.Accurately verify and exchange chips, slot tickets, and cash with guests and employees.Verify slot tickets on the computer data system.Assist guests with credit card transactions.Verify all funds received from or given to the vault.Verify jackpot wins and process as outlined.Flexible to adapt to operation changes, schedules, job assignments, procedures, etc.Comply with regulatory laws, employee handbook, department policy and procedures, safety codes, etc. at all times.Promotes a clean, safe, and healthy work environment for employees and guests. Promptly reports all concerns to the supervisor.Ensure that the operation of equipment, tools, and materials is handled safely.Participate and attend designated meetings, training, and activities as directed.Promote internal guest service standards through courteous and respectful behavior.Other related duties as assigned by the supervisor or cage manager.Promotes Wrc Quality Service Standards:Safety: Ensuring a safe experience by protecting the welfare of all.Integrity: Expecting personal accountability at every level.Courtesy: Creating an exceptional customer service experience for everyone.Team: Functioning together to create a cooperative and positive experience.Show: Providing flawless experience a clean and cared-for resort.Supervisory Authority:None.Signatory Ability:Designated Cage form.Keys to Cage Cashier drawer.Key Log and key distribution to authorized users.Request for fills and credits.Slot paper inventory and issue.Access To Sensitive Areas:Cage.Minimum Qualifications:Minimum six (6) months of cashier experience, preferably with a guest service focus.Detail-oriented and good with numbers and money.Stand for long periods in a smoke-filled, noisy environment; perform repetitive motions with wrists, hands, and fingers and lift and maneuver up to 25 lbs.Effective communication skills - verbally provide instruction, respond to questions, and have exceptional interpersonal skills and abilities.Exhibits a professional, positive demeanor and appearance.Requires a High-Security Gaming License clearance.Must be at least 21 years of age.Preferred Qualifications:One (1) year of cashier experience in a casino environment.High School Diploma/GED.Prefer 10 key ability.
