This role is ideal for a collaborative leader who thrives in a member-first environment and is passionate about developing staff, driving operational excellence, and building strong community relationships.What You'll Do:Branch Leadership & Member ExperienceLead daily branch operations and ensure a welcoming, service-driven environmentBuild strong member relationships and advocate for financial literacyResolve complex member needs with professionalism, empathy, and sound judgmentServe as a visible, engaged leader in the branch and communityEnsure consistent, high-quality service delivery across all member touchpointsTeam Coaching & DevelopmentAttract, hire, coach, and develop a high-performing branch teamProvide daily guidance, feedback, and accountability to staffFoster a positive, collaborative, member-focused cultureSupport professional growth through training, mentoring, and performance managementModel Austin Telco's values of Respect, Empathy, Service, Integrity, and CooperationOperational ExcellenceOversee branch operations including cash management, vault and ATM controls, security, and regulatory complianceEnsure accurate execution of transactions, audits, and operational protocolsMonitor branch performance metrics and implement improvementsRecommend process enhancements to optimize efficiency and serviceProtect members and the credit union from fraud, scams, and unlawful activityPerform Notary and Medallion Signature Guarantee services as neededCommunity EngagementRepresent Austin Telco in the community with professionalism and enthusiasmParticipate in outreach, events, and partnerships that strengthen member relationshipsPromote financial education and support local initiativesBranch Network SupportProvide leadership coverage at nearby branches as neededCollaborate with the Regional Branch Manager and cross-functional partners to support organizational goalsRequirements:What You Bring:3–5 years of supervisory experience in a credit union or banking environment (or equivalent combination of education and experience).Strong leadership, time management, and organizational skills.Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.A commitment to member service and a positive, professional attitude.Why You'll Love Working Here: We're more than a credit union, we're a community.
