Company: LOYD Realty Location: Fort Lauderdale FL– On-site (M–F) Employment: Full-time | In-house only Start Date: ASAP About the Role We’re a fast-paced real estate investment company (up to ~30 deals/month) seeking a detail-driven Bookkeeper to own day-to-day QuickBooks bookkeeping across multiple entities. Core Responsibilities QuickBooks (must): Daily posting, bank/credit-card reconciliations, bank feeds, rules, recurring/memorized transactions, class/location tags. Documents & Controls: Collect W-9s, maintain vendor files, track 1099-eligible spend; organize statements, receipts, backups. Real-Estate Bookkeeping (preferred): Post HUD-1/CD entries, earnest money/escrow, holding costs, project/job cost coding. Month-End: Reconcile all accounts, review coding, prepare clean QB reports (P&L, Balance Sheet) Support Payroll (as needed): Provide hours/adjustments to payroll provider; post payroll summaries/journals to QB. What You Bring 2–4+ years hands-on QuickBooks (Online or Desktop) experience — confident with reconciliations, rules, and clean books. Accuracy & speed in a busy environment; strong organization and follow-through. Real-estate/construction/property-management experience preferred (job costing/class/location helpful). Proficient in Excel/Google Sheets; comfortable with multi-entity workflows. Clear communicator; proactive about discrepancies and deadlines. Schedule & Environment On-site, Monday–Friday; Job Type: Full-time Pay: $25.00 - $27.00 per hour Experience: Real estate Accounting: 3 years (Required) Work Location: In person
