Heating Air Conditioning Technician

We are seeking a skilled and customer focused Residential HVAC Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting abilities, clearly communicate issues to homeowners, and recommend effective, honest solutions to ensure comfort and system efficiency.Key Responsibilities:Inspect, diagnose, and troubleshoot residential HVAC systems, including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and ductworkIdentify root causes of system malfunctions and performance issuesPerform repairs, replacements, and routine maintenance on HVAC equipmentClearly explain technical issues to customers in a professional and understandable mannerProvide accurate repair options, recommendations, and cost estimatesEnsure all work complies with safety standards, manufacturer specifications, and local codesMaintain detailed service records, including diagnostics, repairs, and parts usedTest system performance after repairs to confirm proper operationEducate customers on system maintenance and energy efficiency practicesMaintain tools, equipment, and service vehicle in good working conditionQualifications:Proven experience as an HVAC technician, preferably in residential serviceStrong diagnostic and problem-solving skillsKnowledge of HVAC systems, electrical components, and refrigerant handlingEPA CertificationValid driver’s license and clean driving recordAbility to work independently and manage time effectivelyExcellent customer service and communication skills
