Job Title: Respiratory TherapistLocation: Martha's Vineyard, MassachusettsJob Type: Full-Time / Part-Time / PRN Department: Respiratory Care / Pulmonary ServicesReports To: Respiratory Care Manager / Director of Clinical ServicesPosition Summary:We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our healthcare team in Martha's Vineyard. The Respiratory Therapist will provide respiratory care and treatment to patients with breathing or cardiopulmonary disorders. This role involves working closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care.Key Responsibilities:Assess and treat patients with respiratory disorders, including administering oxygen therapy, nebulizer treatments, and mechanical ventilationPerform diagnostic tests such as arterial blood gas (ABG) analysis and pulmonary function testingMonitor ventilators and adjust settings based on patient condition and physician ordersProvide patient education on respiratory care and disease managementRespond to emergency situations, including code blue and rapid response callsMaintain accurate patient records and document treatments in EMR systemsAdhere to infection control policies and safety standardsCollaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement respiratory care plansQualifications:Associate s or Bachelor s degree in Respiratory Therapy from an accredited programCurrent Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential preferred; CRT accepted in some casesBLS (Basic Life Support) certification required; ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) preferredStrong clinical assessment and critical thinking skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidaysBenefits:Competitive salaryHealth, dental, and vision insurancePaid time off and holidaysRetirement savings planContinuing education and professional development supportSupportive team environmentTo apply - send a resume directly by email to for immediate consideration.(Reference Code: MK6412)
