Occupational Therapist - Travel Contract

Make a meaningful difference as a travel OT in Rolla, MO. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to provide home health care to patients of all ages, helping them regain or improve daily living skills while working in a community setting. Minimum Requirements Graduation from an accredited Occupational Therapy program with a Bachelor of Science, Master’s, or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy.Current, active Missouri Occupational Therapist license required prior to start of assignment.Minimum two years of experience as an Occupational Therapist in an acute care or rehabilitation setting required.Current CPR certification required.Current driver’s license, reliable transportation, and vehicle insurance required. Ability to travel locally and perform home visits required.Ability to perform hands-on interventions including ROM, strength, coordination training, splint fabrication, and adaptive equipment fitting and training.Demonstrated documentation skills for Plans of Care, progress notes, phone orders, and other clinical record documentation.Ability to lift, bend, push, pull and perform prolonged standing and walking as part of patient care duties.Preferred: Experience with home health documentation systems and familiarity with infection control/universal precautions in home settings.
