This role is essential in helping provide residents with quality meals and excellent service in a clean, safe, and caring environment.If you enjoy working with people, thrive in a team-oriented setting, and are committed to maintaining high standards of food service and resident care, we’d love to hear from you.ResponsibilitiesReport to work at the assigned time, in proper uniform, and ready for dutyHandle food and equipment according to sanitation policies and proceduresFollow all safety regulations while operating kitchen equipmentDeliver food carts, trays, and meal items to resident rooms and dining areasServe meals in dining roomsPrepare and distribute snacks as directedAssist with daily and scheduled cleaning duties in accordance with facility policiesReport discrepancies or concerns to the department supervisorProvide residents and families with excellent customer service in a compassionate environmentPerform related duties as assigned by the Food Services DirectorSupport various dietary department tasks based on facility needsRequirementsMust be able to read, write, speak, and understand EnglishAbility to make independent decisions when neededMust maintain cleanliness and proper use of supplies, equipment, and work areasAbility to inspect food service areas for sanitation, safety, and proper performance of dutiesWillingness to learn new methods and incorporate best practices into food service operationsNursing home experience preferredJoin Acclaim Rehab and Nursing Center and become part of a team dedicated to providing exceptional care and service to our residents every day.
