Job DetailsDescriptionValley View hospital's Emergency Department is seeking a full-time Patient Navigator/Unit Secretary. As the Patient Navigator/Unit Secretary you will provide individualized assistance to patients, families, and caregivers to overcome barriers within the healthcare system and facilitate access to all of the resources available to patients. Functions as a communication link from Emergency Department to other departments. Validates and verifies accuracy of ED department charges. (Initial entry of charges is performed by ED RN staff)Act as a link between patients and care providers to facilitate clinical and supportive care services.
