Accounting Manager

Our client is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to join its corporate accounting team. This is an excellent opportunity for a CPA with strong month-end close and financial reporting experience to step into a visible leadership role supporting a national operation.This position will oversee core accounting functions, manage and mentor a small team, and partner cross-functionally to improve processes, controls, and reporting accuracy within a dynamic and growth-oriented environment.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the month-end close process and ensure timely, accurate financial reportingPrepare and review journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysesOversee accounting areas including revenue recognition, lease accounting, payroll, and cash managementPartner with internal departments to resolve discrepancies and improve reporting processesSupport budgeting, reporting, and financial analysis activitiesMaintain and strengthen accounting policies, procedures, and internal controlsAssist with external audits and coordinate with third-party tax providersIdentify opportunities for automation and process improvementsQualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fieldActive CPA required5+ years of accounting experience within public accounting, industry, or a combination of bothStrong Excel skills
