HR Director/Scheduler
We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic HR Director/Scheduler to join our team!Our mission is to offer quality care to our residents, and to provide for them a loving and compassionate environment, attending carefully to their physical, spiritual, and emotional needs.Responsibilities:Review all requests from department heads for new and replacement personnel, fill requests as approved, and arrange interview, appointments, etc.Maintain job application files for individuals interested in employment within the facilityAlso files applications for positions, by position or alphabetically to include job applications, resume, reference checks, etc. of that person meeting the eligibility requirements for the position to which they appliedMaintain Confidentiality of all pertinent personnel information in accordance with the Privacy Act, as well as our established personnel policies governing the release of informationPerform all assigned tasks in accordance with our established policies and procedures, and as instructed by your supervisorsCreate and maintain an atmosphere of warmth, personal interest and positive emphasis, as well as a calm environment throughout the facilityFollows established personnel policies according to employee handbook as well as other departments within the facility to ensure that services and activities can be adequately maintained to meet the needs of the residentsAttends facility departmental meetings as requiredPerform administrative requirements such as completing necessary forms, reports, etc., and submitting to the AdministratorTerminate employment of personnel, when necessary, documenting and coordinating such actions with the Department Director and Administrator.Participate in employee performance evaluation, determining growth needs and goalsTracks and verficies employee hours, overtime, and call outs dailyReviews and tracks requests for time offCoordinates scheduling changes with managementAbility to rearrange staff scheduleQualifications:Graduate of an accredited high school or GED preferred.2 years of college or a degree in Human Resources preferred.Computer knowledge desirablePrevious scheduling experienceEffectively communicate with others1 year supervisory experience requiredPrevious long-term care experience is desirable“We're an equal opportunity employer.
