With the expansion of SKIMS Beauty, we are building a world-class creative organization to define a distinctive, elevated visual identity for a new generation of beauty.We are seeking a Senior Art Director to lead the creative vision and execution across campaigns, launches, packaging, digital, and retail—ensuring every visual expression of SKIMS Beauty is iconic, modern, and culturally resonant.Role OverviewThe Senior Art Director is a senior creative leader responsible for shaping and executing the visual language of SKIMS Beauty across all consumer touchpoints. This role will lead concept development, art direction, and creative execution for major campaigns and product launches, partnering closely with Brand, Product Marketing, Content, and Design.You will be a hands-on creative leader who sets the bar for craft, consistency, and innovation while mentoring and elevating the broader creative team.Key ResponsibilitiesCreative Direction & Concept DevelopmentLead creative concepting and art direction for major campaigns, launches, and brand initiatives.Translate brand strategy and product narratives into powerful visual systems and storytelling.Visual Identity & Brand ExpressionOwn and evolve the visual identity of SKIMS Beauty across photography, video, design, and digital.Ensure consistency and excellence across all brand expressions.Campaign & Launch ExecutionDirect end-to-end creative execution across shoots, sets, styling, post-production, and final delivery.Partner with Production, Content, and Marketing to deliver on-time, on-budget creative.Cross-Functional CollaborationPartner closely with Brand, Product Marketing, E-commerce, Retail, and PR to align creative with business objectives.Translate product and marketing briefs into breakthrough creative.Team Leadership & MentorshipLead, mentor, and inspire designers, art directors, and external creative partners.Set creative standards, provide rigorous feedback, and build a high-performance culture.External Partner ManagementManage photographers, directors, stylists, agencies, and production partners.Oversee creative quality across internal and external teams.Innovation & Cultural RelevanceStay ahead of creative, fashion, and beauty trends.Bring fresh, culturally relevant ideas to keep SKIMS Beauty visually distinctive.Skills, Knowledge and ExpertiseQualifications10+ years of art direction and creative leadership experience in beauty, fashion, luxury, or lifestyle brands.Proven experience leading large-scale campaigns and product launches.Strong portfolio demonstrating concept, craft, and visual storytelling.Deep understanding of photography, video, design, and digital production.Experience leading creative teams in fast-paced, high-growth environments.Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe InDesignExperience creating creative presentations and visual storytelling decks using Keynote and/or Google SlidesWorking knowledge of motion and video editing tools, including Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe After EffectsFamiliarity with collaborative creative platforms such as FigmaExperience reviewing and managing photography workflows using Capture One and/or LightroomUnderstanding of creative production workflows across digital, social, print, retail, and campaign assets Familiarity with project management and team collaboration tools such as Asana, Monday.com, and SlackStrong understanding of typography, layout, branding, photography, and visual storytelling Ability to work in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment while managing multiple projects and deadlines simultaneouslyCore CompetenciesVisionary creative leader with exceptional taste and craftHighly collaborative, cross-functional partnerStrong leadership, mentorship, and team-building skillsDetail-obsessed with a high bar for qualityComfortable balancing creative vision with commercial needsWhy Join SKIMS BeautyThis is an opportunity to define the visual language of a global beauty platform from the ground up.
