Account Controller

PrideStaff is looking for an Account or Finance Controller for a manufacturing company in Modesto, CA.Responsibilities Include the Following:Financial Reporting: Oversee the creation of balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports.Compliance & Audits: Ensure tax and regulatory filings are correct and manage external audits.Team Management: Lead and train staff accountants, bookkeepers, and payroll clerks.Internal Controls: Set up security rules and processes to prevent fraud and errors.Budgeting & Analysis: Track spending trends, compare actual costs to budgets, and help leaders plan future spendingQualifications Include the Following: Recent, relevant work experience within the past 5-10 yearsBachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration is preferred, not requiredCPA or CMA certification is preferred, not requiredMust be at least 18 years old and able to show proof of eligibility to work in the .Must be willing to submit to a pre-employment background check and drug screeningOffice Hours: Monday - Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm (Lunch: 12:00 pm to 1:15 pm) Pay Range varies DOE: $30/HR-$40/HR For further consideration, please call 209-577-3663 #mon Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $30.00 - $40.00 Per Hour
