Junior Web Developer (Python + SQL) – Job DescriptionType: Full-timeLocation: Atlanta, GAThis position includes 10 weeks of training at Atlanta.Role OverviewAs a Junior Web Developer, you’ll assist in building and maintaining web applications using Python for backend logic and SQL for database management. You’ll work under senior developers and gradually take ownership of features.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain web applications using Python frameworks like Django or FlaskWrite clean, efficient, and reusable codeDesign, query, and manage databases using SQL (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL)Build RESTful APIs for frontend integrationDebug issues and fix bugs in existing applicationsCollaborate with frontend developers using HTML, CSS, and JavaScriptParticipate in code reviews and team meetingsOptimize application performance and database queriesRequired SkillsBasic knowledge of Python programmingUnderstanding of web frameworks like Django or FlaskStrong fundamentals of SQL (SELECT, JOIN, GROUP BY, etc.)Familiarity with version control tools like GitBasic understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)Knowledge of APIs and JSONPreferred / Nice-to-HaveExperience with ORMs like Django ORM or SQLAlchemyExposure to cloud platforms like Amazon Web Services or Google Cloud PlatformUnderstanding of deployment and hostingBasic knowledge of frontend frameworks (React, Vue, etc.)QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science / IT (or equivalent experience)Internships or personal projects using Python + SQL
