Sr. Commercial Manager

Sr. Commercial ManagerEightfold AI is seeking a dynamic Sr. Commercial Manager to join the Customer Growth (Customer Success) team and take ownership of the commercial lifecycle for our enterprise customer base. This pivotal role is responsible for maximizing revenue within a portfolio of accounts while expertly managing risk through robust commercial governance.
The Sr. Commercial Manager will serve as the primary commercial point of contact for their accounts, leading end-to-end commercial execution for both renewal and upsell opportunities. This position is perfect for a strategic deal-maker who excels at the convergence of process, strategy, and strong customer relationship management.
Responsibilities:
Lead procurement positioning and negotiation for renewal and upsell opportunities
Partner with Customer Growth to ensure pricing and packaging proposals align with customer business goals and proven value of Eightfold
Drive on-time or early renewal and upsell execution through accurate forecasting and renewal pipeline hygiene
Identify commercial risk in opportunities and execute course corrective action
Manage all customer legal, security and compliance questions and processes
Collaborate cross-functionally with Finance, Legal, and Deal Desk on deal structuring and approvals
Build repeatable renewals and upsell commercial processes for Customer Growth to ensure clarity and consistency
Required Qualifications:
3-5 years of experience in Fortune 1000 SaaS renewals, Deal Desk, account management, and/or sales operations
Proficiency in Salesforce & Clari
Demonstrated ability to manage a high-volume book of business with competing deadlines
Experience with contract structures, SaaS pricing models, and MSA/order form negotiation
Ability to travel 5-10%
Preferred Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in Fortune 1000 SaaS renewals, Deal Desk, account management, and/or sales operations
Experience in AI/ML technologies in the HR space or working at a fast-growing technology/SaaS company
Excellent problem solving in complex, multi-stakeholder situations
Close attention to detail, basics of project management, and ability to keep multiple trains running at once
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Experience with public speaking, webinars, and conferences
