Clinical Sales Specialist

Location: San Francisco, CATerritory: Bay AreaMust HaveCritical care RNs from hospitals in the Bay Area with ICU nursing experience are ideal.Candidates can come directly from bedside nursing without prior clinical sales experience, but they should be highly motivated to transition into the medical device/clinical support industry.Job SummaryThe Clinical Specialist II is an advanced-level position with a primary focus in large hospital systems. The Clinical Specialist II is responsible for supporting clinical monitoring products and maintaining customer relationships with a variety of clinicians and key stakeholders. This role is a proactive member of the Clinical Team and works in partnership with both internal and external customers.Duties & ResponsibilitiesThe Clinical Specialist II is responsible for all duties of a Clinical Specialist, plus the following:Consults with healthcare partners and clinicians to identify solutions that consistently deliver optimal care at a lower cost through automating patient management across the continuum of care using advanced monitoring technologies, measurements, and data.Works with the Account Manager to develop and execute strategies supporting customer strategic initiatives.Consults on workflow solutions to minimize disruption and maximize efficiency.Identifies opportunities to expand clinical solutions within assigned accounts.Partners with the Account Manager to meet territory sales objectives.Develops and maintains ongoing partnerships with customers, with a primary focus on large hospitals and health systems.Prioritizes and plans independently, as well as collaboratively with sales and clinical team members, to achieve company goals and customer satisfaction.Provides advanced troubleshooting and product support.Overnight travel required (50% or more).Performs Project Management, Lead Clinical Specialist, or Clinical Specialist Resource responsibilities for onsite implementations, evaluations, and additional projects.Performs special projects and additional duties as assigned.Minimum & Preferred Qualifications and ExperienceMinimum QualificationsMinimum of 5 years of experienceExceptional written, oral, and interpersonal communication skillsPC literateExcellent organizational skillsAbility to work independentlyStrong independent problem-solving skillsAbility to travel extensivelyMust meet current state and/or professional license requirementsPreferred QualificationsAt least 2 years of critical care or related clinical experienceLeadership experienceProven ability to build strong client relationships and serve as a trusted advisorRegistered Respiratory Therapist or Registered NurseEducationRegistered Respiratory Therapist or Registered Nurse preferred.Physical Requirements / Work EnvironmentThis position primarily works outside of a traditional office environment and requires frequent customer interaction. Responsibilities include frequent sitting, standing, walking, and lifting (must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds). Daily use of computers and digital devices is required. Candidates may stand for extended periods during meetings or while working within healthcare facilities.Extensive local and domestic travel is required.
